My dog is very listless like overnite, won't eat and will drink water, which she later threw up. She had a stool that was only blood. Please help.

Have your dog examined by a veterinarian. Bloody diarrhea, anorexia, and vomiting are cause for alarm. If you dog is a puppy or young, unvaccinated dog a big concern of mine is parvovirus. This is a virus that attacks the lining of the intestines and cause vomiting, bloody diarrhea, severe dehydration, and a full body infection.
Even if it is not parvo there are other intestinal viruses that can cause these signs. The gut is the stress organ of canines--many diseases cause vomiting and lack of appetite.
GI parasites can also cause bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Your veterinarian will test for these parasites and giardia.
Often we do not find the exact cause of GI upset and treat symptomatically with fluid therapy, antibiotics, and anti-vomiting medications. Dogs can become dehydrated very quickly and this makes them feel even worse.
Your veterinarian will run some tests on a fecal sample, and a blood sample to diagnose the primary disease. Then the veterinarian will conduct appropriate therapy and symptomatic care.

It could be that she ate something toxic. Or any other number of things, I suggest that you get her to the vet as soon as you can. Hope this helps.

thank you for the answer and i did have to end up taking her to the vet for hospitalization overnite, antibiotic and antiemetic treatiment. you have do what you have to do for the pet and thanks for the advice.
