    Let Mackenzie = M and

    Yukon = Y

    M = Y + 1056

    Y+M = 7426

    Putting the value of M = Y + 1056 in the equation you will get

    1056 + Y + Y = 7426
    2Y = 7426 - 1056
    2Y = 6270
    Y = 6370/2
    Y = 3185

    Putting the Value of Y = 3185 in Y+M = 7426 you will get
    3185 + M = 7426

    M=7426 - 3185
    M= 4241

    So Mackenzie = 4241 Km and Yukon = 3185 KM  >>> answer
