    If You Are Added To A Deed Via A Quick Claim Deed Filing Does That Also Make You Egually Responsible To The Mortgage Holder Even If You Are Not On The Mortgage?

    I am curious how it works if someone is added to a property deed by filing a quick deed, however that person is not listed on the mortgage

    Unless the mortgage is signed by the person on the quit claim deed they have no responsibility to pay said mortgage, however,  if the mortgage is not paid by whomever signed the mortgage said home can be taken via foreclosure.
