Can Anyone Please Give Me Information On The Economy Of Colombia?

    Bogota is the Capital city of the Colombia. Since 2002 after the selection of Alvaro Uribe is selected as the president of the Colombia. The Gross Domestic Product is same in the year 2004 and 2005 which is four percent. Colombia is rich in natural resources especially agriculture, hydrocarbons and mines.  They have skilled labour and their economic policies are very good. There is high political instability which is giving bad impact on the Colombian Economy. Due to political instability the country can not attract foreign investment from abroad.
    .
    The agriculture is the main hold of the country and it is largest producer of coffee which contributes 7 percent of the Gross Domestic Product and 6 lack people are being employed by this sector. It is the second largest exporter in the flowers. Coca and Poppy are the two main growing of this country. It is at number one in the production of cocaine and the government is unable to stop this yet. Food processing is the primary industry. The banking sector of this country is weak and in constant trouble. Colombia is one of the biggest exporters of Petroleum and Coffee.  The trade partners of Colombia are United States, Ecuador and Venezuela.
