How Old Can My Tractor Trailer Be By DOT Regulations To Be On The Road For OTR Traveling With Loads?

    It can be as old as it wants as long as it meets and passes current DOT inspections and criteria.

    My truck cab is a Peterbilt 18 years old. I was told that DOT has a new rules about truck cab being to old to be on the road. Is this truu? And is their a place I can verify this info?

    Call the dept. Of transportation in your state and find out. I'll bet that so long as it can pass inspection an complies with all DOT regs you'll be able to haul with it.
