My 4 month Lhasa Apso has a warm dry nose and pants a lot with 60 respirations a minute at rest. He's very playful and full of life though. He doesn't act sick at all. What's wrong?
You not not to worry. The dogs start panting like we sweat in order to provide coolness to body. The panting cause evaporation in the upper respiratory tract providing coolness. Your dog is having 60 respiration's in a minute while the normal is 30-40. He can go up to 300 depending upon conditions. You can also visit a Vit to get advise.
