At What Point Does Muesli Become Muesli? Would Some Rolled Oats With A Sultana In Them Be Muesli?

Interesting question -  I would have to say no with regard to the traditional recipe

The original muesli was invented by Dr Bircher-Benner and contained more fruit than oats

The original recipe is as follows

• 1 tablespoon rolled oats, soaked in 2–3 tablespoons water
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon sweet cream (condensed milk may be substituted)
• 200 grams apple (preferably a sour variety), finely grated and mixed with the above directly before serving
• optionally top with 1 tablespoon ground hazelnuts or almonds

I use this recipe to this day (I soak the oats the night before) and was given this by my parents from a young age - I have 2 Bircher-Benner books, one of which is The Bircher-Benner Children's Diet Book
