Why Did The Inernet Get Invented And What Do People Use It For?

I can't really answer you question with exact knowledge but, in my opinion they invented it to plainly have fun! Searching through the internet to play games, chat, and do things you can't usually do. Like: Search videos you missed or just asking strangers questions. That would be dangerous but, if you don't give away personal information like: Phone numbers, where you live, what your name is etc. Then you can have a lot of fun!
