Where Should We Live? Jasper, IN. Or Chicago, IL?

This is an interesting question for me. I once lived in Chicago,
as a teacher in a Parochial school on the South west side. It was not by any means the best three years of my life, but it is city with many interesting and entertaining places.

If you like a large Metropolis area with lakes, museums, good schools, Universities, DePaul for instance is in the downtown.
If you enjoy the arts and science, a great zoo, traffic jams, an overhead rail system (the L), great bus system, Large hospital complexes,  then this may be the place for you!

Jasper, Indiana is very different. A wonderfully calm, serene city where people are friendly and caring. Located just outside Ferdinand, Indiana where Benedictine Sisters live in a Monastery and offer frequent programs on various topics.
Saint Meinrad Monastery for Benedictine Monks who run the
diocesan Seminary is a short distance away.

My brother lives in a Nursing Home in Jasper , they have a WalMart and KMart! The Jasper school systems are good, High School is relatively new and a new Middle School opened in September.
