What Are The Working Conditions For A Fitness Worker's Job?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The job of a fitness worker can require him or her to be either at a fitness center, a gym, a health club or even at an individual client's private home. They spend most of their times outdoors however certain fitness directors and supervisors are confined to an office only as they are only responsible for planning fitness programs.

Some of them do both things; administer fitness programs and plan them and also give fitness classes. However the fitness directors usually have a lesser amount of physical activity as compared to the fitness workers. Both have a high risk of getting injured at many times especially during long hours of fitness classes.

Fitness centers are also open for long hours, thus fitness workers are some times required to work at nights and even on weekends including holidays. They have to travel a lot from place to place to reach client's home. The work schedule of a fitness worker can be very busy especially if it is a well known and popular fitness worker.

However fitness worker have their own independence and they have the liberty of planning their own routines and classes. They can direct their client's to follow their routines and can take breaks on their own will.
