When Did Swimming First Start?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

There is a theory that humans evolved from primates that swim. Our body hair is streamlined for swimming, our noses are turned down (not like a gorilla with it's nostrils pointing forward), and that we could not have become upright walking primates without the assistance of water. There is a great video series on You Tube about the Water Babies Theory. It is really cool.
So the answer is that we have always been able to swim. Also keep in mind that the ocean is where all life on this planet started from.
