The Nostramamus was known as an doctor or apothecary ,but when he visit Italy for the second time after compelte his journey he took intrest in occult. Then he wrote an almanac for 1550 and for the first time Latinizing his name from Nostredame to Nostradamus. He became famous by almanca's success then he decided to write more.

After a lot of work in it he was known to have contained at least 6,338 prophecies and at least eleven annual calendars .Some of these calendars were started from January and some of them started from March. It was mainly in strong conservatism to the almanacs that the magnificence and other wel-known persons from far away soon started asking for horoscopes and advice from him, though he generally expected his clients to supply the birth charts on which the horoscopes would be based, but he was unable to be true at once to the normal practice of professional astrologers.

After that he began the project to writing a book of almost thousand quatrains which was be ingredient of the largely undated prophecies of him.  Some people says about his quatrains that he was not a good person, they think that he was a servant of evil, a fake  but some people think that his quatrains were spiritually inspired prophecies.

To my opinion Nostradamus is a Hoax. Nowhere in any library in the world there is the full version of his book < Centuries >. First come the several events in the world and then a new edition of his Centuries is published and "prophecies" the event. I would suggest not to believe everything you hear. Bye
