Not really. The younger ones bark comparatively more than the older ones but they are more or less same as that of other dog breeds. It basically depends upon their brought up. With conditioning you can make him less vocal at the early stages.

I was told, by many, that Yorkies are yappers. My Yorkie is fourteen and she has never been a paper.
