How Do You Sell A Pet?

It's always traumatic for an animal to be re-homed so make sure that you give your pet to someone who really cares for animals and will love and care for the creature. Have you thought about advertising at your vets surgery where hopefully someone who really cares will take the pet. I don't agree with making money from animals and personally would never sell a pet as I believe a pet is for life. If however their are circumstances that don't allow you to keep an animal or bird perhaps you would consider taking it to a re-homing centre such as the RSPCA or a local shelter - people who look for pets their are usually caring. You have no guarentee what sort of home your pet will go it if you sell over the web. I think it's a shame that money is made out of selling pets.

Dont sell it. Give it away for free to a good home, however, you can also sell it to your local pet store, and tell them to make sure that your pet goes to a good owner.

There are many different ways via which you can sell pets. You can give advertisements in your local news paper, about the pet you want to sell along with the asking price.

You can also put small advertisements describing the pet which is up for sale for example; if it is a dog you can put which breed it is, its age, etc, along with your contact details, in your neighbourhood grocery store and people interested in it will revert back. There are many online web-sites which sell and put up advertisements for pet sale for example, www.petsell.com. The registration on these web-sites is completely free and is more like pet classified.

If i were you i would probably search for the pet's comfort than the money i'd prefer to give the pet to a good and loving home than to negectful people who might abuse it.

If you want to sell your pet it all depends on the pet like a cat or dog may become more attached so you should try to sell it to a friend that knows the animal. Other animals such as fish may not become as attached but they wills still become attached to a degree so again if you can you should try to sell to a friend that the animal now and if that does not work then you should post an add in the paper stating your pets information and have individual interview to see if that person shows sigh of abuse if they smoke and most importantly if the animal is attracted to that person and if they "bond"
