The worth of your home would depend on a number of things, including the size of your property, the area it is located in, the condition of your home, the neighbourhood, the state of the economy, the crime rate in your neighbourhood, the proximity to schools and colleges etc. To know the worth of your home you could refer to the prices at which similar properties are changing hand in your neighbourhood or those quoted by a real estate agency in your neighbourhood. Your local council can also provide records related to average prices in your neighbourhood. A boom in an economy can result in prices of a property rising beyond reasonable limits. Development projects that are expected to raise the desirability of a location generally increase the prices of a property.
