3 days is not always true. It depends on for how long you have taken them and, how much perks (milligrams) you take. The opiates sit on your receptors. It can take a longer period of time for them to get out of your system depending on your use. People who go through perks withdraws can vary a time of 2 days to 14 days of withdraw symptoms.  Id advise anyone not to start taking them. I was put on them in 2002 for pain. Its now 2009. I am 11 days off of them. ITS PURE HELL GOING THRU WITHDRAW! The first 24 hours is bad. I had to wait it out 24 hrs. Before I could take my first Suboxone. I am now off suboxone it was giving me bad migraines so i am doing it naturally. I feel so much better not depending on eating perks to motivate me to start my day.
