What Is Final Draft 7?

Final Draft 7 is a piece of software that is used by writers, who are writing screenplays or play scripts.  It is a piece of simple word processing software that prepares a script by using sets of macros that are useful to a writer.  These macros place the dialogue where it needs to be in a screenplay format, and uses quick keys and drop down boxes to select frequently required things, and quickly learns the names of characters and adds this to a drop down box.

The software is the industry standard for professional writers.  It allows you to save your script as a pfd and then you can send it to people without fear of people saving it as their own work.

It is very simply software and quite expensive for what you are getting, someone with word who knew the product well could basically do the same things, but since it's industry standard, wanna be and wanna die writers will keep buying it, just like me.
