You need to consult your vet if you think your girl needs meds. Things like that are toxic to our pets and while occasionally prescribed by a veterinarian it is done with consideration and knowledge of all factors involved and very carefully calculated. Nothing like that should ever be given without being prescribed by your vet and then ONLY exactly as prescribed. Anything you give to the dam will be given to the pups and you could cause problems with their liver and kidneys or toxicity. I wouldn't do it. You should call and see if there's anything you can give her or if they think she needs to be seen for whatever the problem is.
