Goober or Goober peas generally refers to peanuts. The peanut or a groundnut basically is a species found in the legume family Fabaceae found extensively in South America.
It is a yearly herbaceous plant which grows up to 30 to 50 cm in height. The leaves of this plant are opposite, pinnate having four leaflets. The flowers of this plant are usual pea flower like in shape.
