You're not the only parent who is facing this problem. There are a lot of other people who face this and it is enough to disturb them.
You should keep in mind some important things. First of all, that there are 2 ages of every human being; one is his physical age, which we calculate through his date of birth; and the second is his mental age. It is not necessary that a person who has physically grown up, has also grown up mentally as well. There may be some children who are only of 13 years of age but they have grown mentally like an aged person. History tells us of many such examples.

So it might be due to this. As soon as he grows up mentally he would stop doing this. Another thing is that you did not pay proper care to him in his early childhood. That is also a reason. Because if you didn't give him a proper timetable of eating, sleeping, drinking, and answering the call to nature, he will not learn it later on. According to a famous philosopher, Bertrand Russell, the things a child learns in his early years, he never learns again with this speed. So you need to give him proper care and teaching to overcome this problem. It is also recommended to consult some psychologist if the problem continues. But with the passage of time he will overcome it.

Leave him alone completely for a while, if you are stressed about it, he sees that, and with your stress, he stresses, which could add to the reason that he is still doing it.
