Puppies are supposed to be "free fed". It means as much as they want up until 6 months old according to websites and vets

Boxers are prone to bloat because they are deep chested dogs so feed small meals often throughout the day, A puppy will need about four small meals a day and remember never feed before or after strenuous exercize you can then drop it down to two or three meals when your dog is an adult, leave it about an hour between times to give the dog a chance to digest its meal they can also suffer allergies from certain brands of dog food dry dog food seems to be easier to feed them. Hope this helps.

I have 2 8wk old male boxer pups. Be careful how much you feed them.dont give them lots of food. Give them small handfuls a couple times a day. I just had my one in the ER cause he choked on food and he almost died. Spent 2 days at the vet...xrays choked he had eaten to much and asphyxiated and then his lungs started to fill with fluid BAD. Thank god hes find now but we definately watch how much they eat now....my 1yr old boxer and the other pup never had that happen but better safe than sorry.
