If My Son Does Not Live With Me, Does He Qualify For Medicaid?

My son does not live with me, but I am responsible for his medical coverage. I do not make enough money to cover him with CHIP. The health and human services department say that I can not get him on the same services as my daughter because he is not in the household.

He should qualify for medicaid depends on how much he makes if hes working.

No because in order for you to put him on medicaid he would have to be living with you unless you commit fraud.

If he is over 18, and he doesn't make much money he can probably qualify or if you are responsible for him and you don't make enough money, he should qualify.

It depends on what your son's guardians make and whether he is their legal son and/or just guardians of him. Check with your county to see if he's eligible, and/or check with the child's guardians to see if they're already done this.

No, your child has to have the same address as you, does the child share the home part time
