    How Can I Find A Claim That's Already On File?

    I file for unemployment in 2006 but my claim was denied but the money is still there how can I go about collecting?

    If your claim was denied, you would have to have filed an appeal of the determination to try to get the decision reversed. The determination should have a cut off date and a procedure for filing an appeal on it. If you did not do that, you won't be able to go back and draw those benefits now. If you have worked since then and established new earnings, you can file a new claim to see if you qualify for any benefits now.
