    Does The Police Have To Give A Eviction Notice And The Time Limit Is 6 Months To Get Out?

    I might get evicted and was told this is the proper way the landlord has to do it.

    It doesn't have to be the police to issue it your landlord could or someone from the courts. And it's maditory to give you six months as long as you have a child or if you go to court and have a good reason why they should give it to you. I was in the same situation. Good luck.
