I Want To Start A House Cleaning Business, Can You Help?
I have been asking a couple of people around the office if they had some one come in and clean for them would the prefer a man or a woman and most people would rather have a woman. PLEASE HELP!!! I a male but a I think I can clean just as well as a woman can . PLEASE! I need as much feedback a possible I want to be in the Home cleaning business but If now one will do business with me becuase I'm a male than how do I get around my sex.

Maybe you could start with some friends and get references. If you have good references, it won't matter what sex you are unless they have younger children that will be at home alone during the time you would be there. Make flyers that give some kind of guarantee that you can do it just as good as a woman.

As an owner of a residential cleaning business I can tell you that References are just about everything in this business. They get the most referrals. Take the previous person's advice and get some referrals. However, you will definitely every now and then get people who just don't want a male person to do the job. The other great way is to hire a woman to do the work and you just work on getting more business and customer service and you can still make a good profit if you play your cards right. There are lots of ways to get into this business, and make a lot of money in it. It's a great business, but it's just like any other, you get out of it what you put into it, best of luck! Alex
