I am a 21 year old college student who still lives with my very, very strict mother. I'm scared of the type of reaction that I might get from her. Please help me!

Definitely your mother will be angry and scold you harshly. No matter how many different ideas you try to please her before this news, it will be a shocking news for her. You have to make her believe that you didn't have any idea what happened. Tear is a good weapon to mold her.

Mr zuhail seems to know your mother better than you do. Your 21 years old, and i know some moms where it wouldn't matter if you were 30. Does your mom have any grand children yet? You never know, she might be thrilled to have a grandchild. She my be more concerned at the fact that your in college and may be worried your gonna drop. You need to reassure your mom that your gonna stay in school and your gonna take care of your child. Are you and the father dating? As hard as its gonna be to talk about this, the sooner the better. This will be her first grandchild. I try to throw little hints every once in a while just to see her reaction. It doesn't seem like she'll be that made. My boyfriend and I have only been dating 2 months but we have been friends for two years and he wants a baby so I don't really have anything to worry about besides the approval of my mother, and thanks for the advice.

Thanks a lot. I think I am going to take her to dinner and tell her in a public place. That way she may not strike me or yell really loud if there is a lot of people around.
