An effective and influential business tool, exhibitions also have an immense scope of flexibility as well as they are a perfectly cost-effective business tool. In developed economies, exhibitions constitute a major dimension of the promotion mix alongside other promotion tools such as advertising, sales promotion techniques, direct mail, direct selling and the Interactive media.
For new markets that are still in the growth stage, exhibitions go a long way in consolidating them. For starters, exhibitions contribute a great deal towards driving industrial development along with motivating technology transfer. Moreover they play a great role in bolstering the regional and national industry. Also exhibitions are a highly effective tool when it comes to the prospect of igniting foreign investment opportunities in the industry and infrastructure that will increase the scope of opportunities.
