Where Is Baltimore, USA?

Baltimore is situated in Maryland one of the smaller states of the United States. Baltimore is located near the centre of Maryland. The State of Maryland lies to the north east of the United States. The capital of Maryland, Annapolis is further south of Baltimore.

The city was found in 1729 and was a frontier state during the civil war. The population of the state is approximately six hundred and fifty thousand.

Washington Dc is to the South West of Baltimore, nearly the same distance away as Annapolis. New York and Philadelphia are further to the north east.

Baltimore is culturally unique, as its characteristics of both the North and South. The city is famous for its culture of crab restaurants where crabs are eaten with just a mallet and a knife. The city is also characterised by its row houses which are found all over Baltimore.

The Miss USA pageants of the years 2005 and 2006 were held in Baltimore.
