Where Can I Take My Plastic?
I live in Texas and I'm recycling paper, plastic, and aluminum for my school. I can't find a place nearby that will take the plastic. What should I do?

Are you trying to get money for this recycling material,or just getting rid of it? I don't know if you have it where you live ,but most city dumps have recycling dumpsters for paper,plastic and aluminum cans. I don't know what else to suggest to you if you are not close enough to a recycling center.

I would like to find a place that gives money in return but I would settle for just recycling it. If I put my plastic in a recycling dumpster at the city dump, am I absolutely garunteed that it won't go into another landfill?
that's what it is suppose to do is be taken to another place for further recycling by a company specializing in recycling aluminum cans and plastics. i would call and ask them over the phone to make sure or contact them by e-mail. they also probably have a web site for information of what they actually do with the cans and plastics.
you might also get the entire school involved and contact the recycler and see if they would be willing to drop off a couple of medium sized dumpsters for just recycling the schools recyclable waste. you never know what could happen talk to the teachers and the principle about it.
