      Take an LCM of the equation 6x-1/5-2x/3. The LCM would be 15. You will get 18x-3-10x/15. By simplification you will get 8x-3/15. If you put x=6 in this equation it will be equal to 45/15. The answer you will get now is 3 by dividing 45 by 15.

        6x-1/5-2x/3=3
        LCM 15
        (90x-3-10x)/ 15 = 3
        (80x - 3)/15=3
        80x-3=45
        80x=48
        x=48/80
        x=3/5
