Brain consists of both white matter and gray matter. The grey matter cover the white matter. It consists of closely packed neurons cell bodies. This part control muscles movement and sensory organs. The white matter consist of deep parts of brain and superficial parts of the spinal cord. It contains thalamus and hypothalamus. So brain contain both matters.
