Sure does sound "funny". I think you should trust your instinct on this one. I'm sorry, but I would question my spouse if that happened with me. You are right, no one is that "lucky". She is probably "lucky" in that other way. There are so many other people in this world that will be good to you. Good luck in the future.

I agree the story does seem strange, but I don't think she is selling drugs or doing favours. It sounds like maybe she could be stealing money from other people. If that's the case she will be caught sooner or later.

It sounds very strange. I think you should investigate. Interrogate her. If she shudders or can't look you in the eye, she is lying. If she laughs and it's a laugh that sounds like 'Hehehe, what are you talking about?' anxious laugh, she is lying. Look for signs. I doubt she has that much luck finding money every week!
