    Peter William Sutcliffe was born on the 2nd of June in the year 1946 at Bingley, West Yorkshire. He is basically a British serial killer normally referred as the Yorkshire Ripper who killed thirteen women and attacked seven more during the years 1975 to 1980. His father was a mill worker who was a poor man basically. Peter was basically a loner as a child and left formal education at the age of fifteen. He then took up small and odd jobs which even included as a grave digger. He got married in 1966.

    He started his killing spree on the 5th of July in the year 1975. His victims were Wilma McCann (28), Emily Jackson (42), Irene Richardson (28), Patricia Atkinson (32), Jayne MacDonald (16), Jean Jordan (20), Yvonne Pearson (21), Helen Rytka (18), Vera Milward (40), Josephine Whitaker (19), Marguerite Walls (47) and Jacqueline Hill (20). On the 2nd of January in the year 1981 he was stopped by the police when he had a prostitute in his car as the number plates on his car seemed to be fake. Then while at the station he was questioned as he fitted the profile of the ripper. On the afternoon of the 4th of January in 1981 he revealed to the police that he was the ripper and gave full account details of his crimes. He was sentenced 30 years to a maximum security prison.
