What's The Fastest And Easiest Way To Rank Up On Rainbow Six For The XBox 360?

There are two ways to rank up on Rainbow.  The first is hard graft with a twist, the second is to cheat.  The first involves repeatedly playing Co-op Terrorist Hunts on your favourite game maps, unlocking the more advanced weapons as you level up.  A good way to benefit from this is to find yourself in a game with higher-ranking officers, it is likely that their success rate for clearing the terrorists on that level will be much higher than yours.  This way you can essentially 'tail gate' your way through the rank up, although if they think you aren't earning your place in the game, they are likely to kick you out.  The easiest maps are LVU Campus and Dantes on Realistic and High Density of Enemy, these have the least amount of enemies for six hundred points.  

The second method to rank up is simply to cheat.  For this you need a plug and play kit (a lead from your controller to the box which will prevent your controller from switching itself off whilst you are away) and a buddy.  Set up a private sharpshooter match for two people, set the highest possible number of rounds, set twenty minute sessions, with a ten second interval between games.  Now take some elastic bands, or string or the wire from your Xbox headset and wind it around the thumb sticks until they are tightly held in place.

Start the game.  Both of your characters will now run around in circles on the map (which will prevent Xbox from detecting your cheat) for twenty minutes and at the end of each game score 1200 points. Leave it when you're out or asleep.  Rank up will be happen by itself.
