What Are Those Disadvantages Of Watching Television Especially To The Young Age?

It is not a bad thing if the parents control the watching of TV.  The problem with todays children is that they sit in front of the TV permanently so they don't exercise anymore and they also don't know how to interact with other people because the only way they know how to act is by what they see on TV.

Addiction, character changes, reading habits lost, Nagging, visionary
problems, physical fitness lost and over and above Studies are
distracted.

Television is a part of our life. Young people should be allowed to watch it as a daily routine as long as they are watching programs suitable for their age, which should include some of the news reports. There should also be a time limit so that TV does not interfere with other essential activities such as school work, physical work/play and family time.
TV by itself is not bad for anyone. Uncontrolled and excessive watching are what ruin the child.

It depends on the shows they watch and how much they watch. I read a study recently that while a child can learn something from a tv show (or video) they learn it much faster if taught by a real person. When my children were young, they watched dvds from a series called Baby Einstein. The videos played classical music and had nursery rhymes in different languages. My son was able to recognize several different composers when he was 2 years old. But I listened to classical music in the car too with them. I don't think that age appropriate television is bad for children is limited amounts. Most of the boys in my son's kindergarten class seem to have seen an awful lot of very violent movies that I would not even dream of letting my kids watch yet. They engage in some very aggressive play.
