How Should I Pack When I Am Going To Oahu, Hawaii?

It doesn't get cold in Hawaii. You might need something warm for when you get back, but keep it minimal. You just won't need it over there.

Depending on how casual you like to go, you may not even need more than one pair of decent trousers. Whatever clothes you do pack, keep to lightweight fabrics. Cotton or hemp rather than artificial fibres.

Shorts, lightweight shirts, beach wear, flip-flops, sunglasses, sun-screen. Bright colours, sarongs, jewelry made of natural materials (like wood and shells). Surfer-wear and styles are also quite hip.

If there's one place on Earth where Hawaiian shirts are still considered "cool" to wear, then Hawaii is it. Thin strap dresses and short skirts for the gals. There is a definite air of laid back Polynesian pace of life in much of the place.
