Can You Have Ringworm On Your Face?

Ringworm infections also called tinea infections and can occur all over the skin and named differently according to their location. Ringworm can also cause infection on face and called Tinea faciei. In women and children, it can occur on any part of the face but in adult males, usually beard area is affected and condition is called tinea  barbae.
Tinea faciei is transmitted by direct contact with the infected person or objects like towel and soil. Treatment with imidazole derivatives respond very well. Dactarin is an imidazole derivative and good medicine to treat tinea infection.
