I would take the kitten to a vet first of all. My elderly cat gets constipated and has serious bowel problems and her stool is very hard. The vet would give her an enema but it didn't help. Then I started giving her about 1/2 tsp of mineral oil in the palm of my hand. She loves it and will lick it up. It completely cured her bowel problems. I give it to you about once a week. Any more would not be good for a cat. Please give it a try - the hard stool indicates that she is getting blocked up and constipated. One word of caution: When a cat goes to lick up a liquid they first smell it. Be careful that she doesn't inhale the mineral oil in her nose when smelling it. A rare chance of her doing this but something to watch for.
