I Need Input On Us Career Institute?
I want to be a medical transcriptionist but not sure if this place is for real.

You may get an answer from someone who has direct experience - I hope so - but in case you don't, this forum has quite an interesting debate on the subject, and the links may be of some use. Overall it looks like you should try to get hold of a genuine ex-student before proceeding further.

I took a medical billing course. I finished it in less than the amount of time they give you. It was fairly easy for me as I have a medical background. I found they were really great with all my questions. They are very good at following up on you if you miss a payment. I got my diploma, but have yet to find a job. They don't get you a job. They mail you a packet on how to prepare for getting a job in whatever field you take. The rest is up to you.
I took courses from us career institute and my mother- in- law is taking them now. I don't know how good the credits transfer to a college. Hope this helps
