How Do You Update A Modem Driver?

Updating your modem driver is very easy. If you are using Windows XP, click on 'My Computer' and 'Control Panel'. Enter into 'Modem' and select the modem you wish to upgrade. Right click on the modem icon and enter 'Properties'. There you will see an option of 'Update Driver'. Click on it and windows will automatically update the driver. If the Windows is unable to update it, insert the modem driver CD in to the drive and change the installation directory. The driver should update after that. If you do not have a CD and still wish to update the driver, search for your modem's model number driver on the internet. Download it and install it.
