My Dog, A Beagle, Is 8 Months Old. He Hasn't Eaten Or Drank Anything In 2 Days. He's Not Barking, Or Playing With Our Other Beagle. He Is Wagging His Tail When He Comes To See Me. Any Idea?

I brought him inside last night, and let him sleep in the crate, and he didn't want to go in, but he didn't even try to get out, and didn't cry or bark even once all night.

Common problems in young dogs include parvovirus, foreign body obstruction, dietary indiscretion, and kennel cough/upper respiratory infection.  Since his only signs right now are lethargy, anorexia, and not drinking it is hard to pinpoint the system that is causing the problem.  He needs to be examined by a veterinarian.  Not eating and drinking leads to dehydration, hypothermia, and hypoglycemia which can become serious complications.  He needs a thorough exam, diagnostics, and appropriate treatment.
