Shoscombe is a very small village in Somerset, England. This village is located in vicinity of Peasedown St. John and the unitary authority of the place is Bath and North East Somerset.
Somerset is mostly consist of rural areas and is called a county of rolling hills and downland. It is quite famous for its traditional art, music and literature. Somerset also feels proud of many notable writers who use some areas of it to stay in and unleash their creativity. Some of the notable writers are Wordsworth, Coleridge, Alfoxden and Porlock.
Traditional folk music and dance is quite popular in agricultural communities and some songs are also incorporated into A Somerset Rhapsody by Holst. The tradition is still continued and some groups such as Wurzels performed it even today.
