My 10 Year Old Lab May Have An Enlarged Spleen Or Liver. My Vet Wants To Do Tests, But I Would Like To Know What Possible Illnesses Besides Cancer My Dog May Have And What Treatments Are Possible?

I am looking for a second opinion for my dog. He acts healthy but does have a bit of a pot belly. My vet has been trying to get me to do these blood tests for a couple of years so I am leary of her motivation.

Yes in my opinion it is the best thing you can do for it .For a proper diagnosis you must have  tests done without wasting any time.  Beside cancer there can be a possibility of improper liver functioning and heppititus can occur.
