    Antonio, the Merchant of Venice, is saved from death by the intervention of Balthasar,( a disguised Portia), who informs Shylock that, yes, he can have his pound of flesh, but he mustn't draw blood! She,( playing the part of a male attorney), also tells Shylock that he may face the death penalty, as, being an alien, he intends to take the life of a Venetian!
