How Can I Use The Phone Call Option On MSN Messenger?

Also known as Windows Live Call, the PC to phone option can be used by logging into MSN Messenger and clicking on the picture of the phone (it should say 'make a phone call' when you hover over it).

The phone call option on MSN Messenger allows you to make calls directly from your PC. When you click on the picture of the phone, a window should appear which slightly resembles a mobile phone.The keys in the window can be used to dial numbers.

The PC to phone feature is supported by Verizon Web Calling. It is supported in countries such as the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain etc.

Windows Live Call also offers Computer Call which are PC to PC voice calls to your MSN contacts, and Video Call which are PC to PC video calls to your MSN contacts. Both of these are free but charges apply to phone calls.
