I have a bearded dragon and they make wonderful pets! They're very docile and when you hold them they like to snuggle up in your neck area - it's warm there. You have to make sure they have the proper undertank heat strips and heat lamp (s). Temp in the tank during the day should be around 80-95 degrees. Also, you will need a UV Light that will re-create the sunlight for them. At night, turn all lights off. I see that someone sent you a page on beardies and it probably tells you about their diet too which is important, but all in all very easy to take care of and great pets! Good luck!

Bearded Dragons are great. I have three now and planing to get a few more. It is not hard to maintain them you just have to know about the proper lighting....UVB/UVA lighting for 10-12 hours a day. Turn them off at night. Best to put the lights on a timer. Change their water daily and mist them two-three times a week. They love fruits and veggies but not citrus. It is good to give them a calcium supplement for their bones. I put mine out in the yard on leashes, they love the sun and being under the sprinkler too.
