What Color To Paint A Master Bedroom?

I have this dark mahogany bedroom set. I also have intense bright salmon pink walls. I feel the plum tones of the wood along with the pinkness of the walls do nothing to complement the wood. I want to know which color helps to enrich deeper wood tones, and enliven them. It is a smaller bedroom, so maybe not too dark. I am open to any suggestions!
