My Cat Started Sneezing. Do I Need To Take Him To The Vet?

My cat is sneezing.

Answer Question

If your cat is sneezing occasionally I would not be too worried.  If he is sneezing up discharge/snot then I would take him to a veterinarian.  Also if he has a decrease in appetite, decreased energy, or stops drinking I would take him to a veterinarian.
Cats can get upper respiratory infections--these can be viral or bacterial in nature.  The bacterial infections typically require treatment.  The viral infections will often resolve as long as no other signs develop.
