    I Have 4 Kids Ages 6,5,2 And 8ms My Boy Of 2 Will Not Sleep, Can You HELP?

    My son of 2 has started to wake up about 12midnight and is up and ready to play all over the house believe me I've tried every thing apart from sticking him to hes bed (i wouldn't really) i don't know what else to do i have about 3 hours sleep a night please help some one must know a trick or two for a worn out mum who is trying to keep going with all my heart HELP ME !!!!

    Maybe you should have him do more during the day. Then he will fall asleep.

      His sleep cycle needs to be corrected. Wake him up early and don't let him sleep during the day. Children also won't sleep much if they're anaemic, so get him checked for that too. Besides, don't give him a lot of sweet stuff, chocolates, cookies, candies and so on. Sugar triggers activity in young children and can lead to hyperactivity in some.

      Another good thing is always to have a bedtime ritual. For my son, we would have dinner, a bath, a story, I sang Twinkle Twinkle, then bed. You  could also start a chart.  For every time he stays in bed all night (or better than usual), he gets to put a star, and then gets to pick from a goody bag.  Charts are lifesaver.
