Find The Surface Area Of A Cylinder With A Radius Of 4 Inches And A Height Of 5 Inches.?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    The formula for the surface area of a cylinder is:
    S.Area=2 π r2 + 2 π r h
    In the question we are given that:
    r=4
    h=5
    We know that:
    π=3.14
    Plugging in the values:
    S.Area=2 π r2 + 2 π r h
    S.Area=2 *3.14*42 + 2 *3.14 *4*5
    multiplying
    S.Area=100.48+ 125.6
    adding
    S.Area=226.08
